FlexNet Assembly Meeting – Streams A & B – 19th and 20th May 2008
The first FlexNet assembly took place on the 19th and 20th May at the University of Bath. The assembly was attended by research assistants, post graduate students, staff and investigators working on the FlexNet programme as well representatives from certain other Supergen consortia, and industrial sponsors. The programme comprised meetings for the Steering Committee, Management Executive and Industrial Sponsors, as well as presentations, discussions and workshops. The intention of the assembly was to agree on ways forward within the consortium, to create new ideas and to allow members of the consortium to meet and exchange ideas. A detailed programme for the assembly is shown below.
The assembly took place over two days and involved two streams of activity. Stream A
mostly involved technical presentations and workshops on present and future research within the Supergen - FlexNet consortium. Stream B comprised mostly of management meetings, cross-consortia and industrial partner meetings. Delegates could switch streams as appropriate during the assembly meeting.
